| Oshiomhole and the widow in Government House relaxing |
After days of rage from
angry and disappointed Nigerians, Edo Governor, Adams Oshiomhole finally
donated N2 million to the widow he insulted and told, “go and die,” while on a
recent inspection tour of the state.
The widow, Joy Ifije,
who was invited to the Government House, where she had breakfast with
Oshiomhole, was also offered employment.
“Let me personal
apologize to you for the way I spoke. I am very sorry about the statement,” the
remorseful governor said.
