Oyedepo, 9,999 singers storm Uyo for AKSG Carol Night

Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State will come alive on Saturday, December 21, 2013, as the Akwa Ibom State Government holds another edition of its historic Carol Night featuring 9,999 carol singers, unarguably the largest on the planet. Also ministering at the event holding at the Uyo Township Stadium is Bishop David Oyedepo.
According to a statement signed by the State's Commissioner for Information and Communications, Aniekan Umanah, the event will be chaired by the governor of the state, Chief Godswill Akpabio.
Gospel acts expected to perform include, Lionel Petersen, Israel Houghton, Sinach and Frank Edwards.
Also thrilling are, Aity Daniels, Nathaniel Bassey, Folake Umosen, Freke Umoh, Linda Etokudoh, Fadabasi, Pasto Goody Goody, AKSG Choir, AKSG Orchestra and Unity Brass Band.
Amazingly, the ggrand performance of the night is the National Choir of St. Kitts and Nevis.
The event is expected to be streamed lived on major TV stations and online media including AIT, Channels, Africa Magic, STV, GOTV and several others.
