American civil rights activist, Jesse Jackson takes chieftaincy title, becomes Enyi Ndi Igbo
Dunukofia kingdom in Anambra State was recently agog as His Highness, Igwe Robert Eze celebrated this year's Ofala in Ukpo. The high point of the well attended ceremony was the conferment of Enyi Ndi Igbo (Friend of the Igbos) on American civil rights activist, Rev. Jesse Jackson, by elated Igwe Eze who was ably supported by his red cap chiefs as well as billionaire younger brother, Prince Arthur Eze.
In his remarks Jackson, thanked Arthur Eze, for making it possible for him to come to Nigeria for the honour and promised to be a good ambassador of Ndigbo.
