Topman |
After
several months of working tirelessly in Nigerian and Ghanaian studios, hunk Hip
life music star, Don Topman has finally dropped his long awaited single.
Entitled: “I
No Go Leave U,” the work, which is currently enjoying massive airplay on radio
nationwide, in the words of elated Topman, is a special gift to his teeming
fans and music lovers, this Yuletide season.
Speaking recently at a well attended press conference, Topman who
also featured Ghanaian rave act, Sandaz Black in the beautiful and fast paced
work, further disclosed that the collaboration was aimed at giving his kind of
music an international appeal.
“I don’t
like categorizing my music, because for me music is a universal language that
has no language barrier and cannot be limited to one area. I sing Hip life, but
that does not mean that I’m limited to only that genre of music. All I want to continue
doing is sing the kind of music that will cut across and appeal to everybody,
irrespective of tribe, religion and gender, and that is what I have started
with this new single, I No Go Leave U.”
The ex model
from Anambra State, who started singing from a very tender age, further
disclosed that plans are already on for the music video of the new single.
“As we
speak, work is almost completed on the music video of this single. We want to
give Nigerians the kind of video they have not seen in the music industry. And
that is the main reason we are not rushing it, but taking our time.”
Speaking on
collaborations, Topman also revealed that he’s working on something special
with Flavour and other leading acts in the nation’s music industry. He hopes to
make it public by early 2014.
“By early
2014, the full album will be ready and you will also get to know most of the
stars I will be featuring and collaborating with in the album. All I want to do
is play good music and make my fans happy because music is my life and there is
no stopping me.”
Topman who
is signed on to Divista and Chista (D&C) records owned by Stephen Chukwudi
Amaeze (DumDum) with headquarters in Spain, boasted he has come to shine and
rule the Nigerian music industry.
