Madly in love D'banj plots 2014 secret wedding with Genevieve

Dbanj & Genevieve
On and off celebrity lovers Dbanj and Genevieve Nnaji are back again as serious soul-mates. And this time, according to a very reliable insider, the wedding bells might toll for them in the New Year, because the Koko Master has fallen in love, like he religiously sang in one of his hit tracks.
Flattering comparisms with America’s showbiz power couple, Jay Z and Beyonce is not strange to one of the most popular Nigerian celebrity couples. And like the highly rated super couple, the two are crazily in love and they aren’t ashamed about it.
Interestingly, the on and off couple made a huge statement when they both stepped out in public last Saturday in Lagos at the star-studded Gulder Club Ultimate.
Looking dapper in each other’s arm, D’banj and Genny wore matching monochrome casual outfits that made heads turn and easily distinguished them as the main attraction in a cluster of galaxies. Dbanj drove into the event in a Black Bentley, seconds after Genevieve came in her G-Wagon.

D’Banj in love
D’Banj’s love is neither infatuation nor fantasy. That’s not all, the singer is not one to shy away from mouthing his love for the actress and mother of one in public. He puts it this way to the world some months ago. “Apart from the fact that she is my friend, she has been a part of my success. There is no way you are going to tell my story that Genevieve’s name will not come up because she featured in my biggest song of all time, Fall in Love. So if E True Story comes to Nigeria to interview me, she will definitely be called upon to tell my story.”
To prove his love beyond any reasonable doubts, D’banj added, “I would love to have Genevieve as my wife.  We never can tell what God plans for us in the future. I have studied her and I realized that anyone that has her as his woman has found himself a treasure. Just like the Bible says, any man who finds a wife, finds a good thing.”

Why they broke-up
At the centre of their incessant break-ups is a brew of mutual suspicion and insecurity issues. On one hand, D’Banj is seen as a sex symbol who commands the attention of ladies everywhere he goes. This fact is not lost on Genevieve. The co-founder of rested Mo’Hits Records has been linked to several female celebrities including Jennifer Obayuwana and Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buari among others.
Genevieve who is the proud mother of an 18 year-old girl is not exactly a beacon of lights when it comes to the affairs of the heart. The highly evasive actress has been linked in time past with several money bags including political top shots among others.
Insiders pointed accusing fingers at the other women in D'banj's life for bringing an end to their once rosy relationship, prior to the recent resuscitation. There were also insinuations that Genny was not committed to the relationship. D'banj was said to have been hurt after he heard that Genny had also allegedly dated another popular Nigerian singer.

How it started
Their relationship began in late 2009 after the two met at the airport. At first, it was treated as a publicity stunt, many thought it was too good to be real. But the relationship went on quietly for a long time until D’Banj confessed his love in publication. “I am in love with her. It’s been long I felt this way about anyone. I don’t know what other words to use to qualify my feelings. She’s my baby, she’s my everything and I love her," gushed Koko Master on his love for the Nollywood poster girl from Mbaise, Imo State.  But after about three break-ups, the two can hardly get enough of each other now.

What’s next?
“D’banj is 33 and Genny is 34 and they aren’t getting any younger,” reveals an insider. “One thing both of them can’t deny is that love. The more they try to run away from it, the more it shows. They are both at the point of no return. Something big is about to happen between this two soon and they want to make it secret,is all I can say for now,” gushed our dependable source.
