Omalichanwa who is Blaze FM's Head of Programmes
and Production received the award on December 8, 2013 at NEC House,
Alausa, Ikeja - Lagos, amid applause.
She dedicated the award to God, her family,
friends and fans whose support, she says has been magnificent over the past
years.
She said: "I can't thank God enough for this recognition.
I am also indebted to my family and friends for their support since this
journey of broadcasting began".
The exceptional On Air
Personality contested the award alongside Tobe David of Dream FM Enugu, Amanda
- Cool FM Port Harcourt, CJ Mama of Love FM Umuahia and Ezzy - Hot FM, Owerri.
"It’s remarkable to be
selected by radio lovers as their favourite young female presenter in South East
Nigeria. My fans and admirers have been phenomenal. This award is for
them", she added.
Omalichanwa was adjudged
winner of the award based on sms votes by radio listeners in Nigeria.
