It was a pitiable sight to behold as another 113 Nigerians deported from Saudi Arabia arrived Abuja recently. The deportees, who were the second batch of the 508 Nigerians approved for repatriation by the Federal Government, were flown into the country by an Ethiopian airline aircraft. A senior official of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said the deportees would be sent to their respective State Emergency Management Agencies, for due clearance. The first batch of deportees, who were 80 in number, arrived on December 25, and more are still being expected.
Kano State had the highest number from the latest batch of deportees, 31, while Borno, had 19.
