After an exciting regional audition all is now set as the Maltina Dance All (MDA), the much awaited family dance show hits television screens across the nation and beyond today. 13 out of the 25 family representatives that were selected during the regional audition were able to qualify their families for the show. The number would be further reduced to 10 families who will eventually be admitted into the MDA academy.

After about one-year hiatus, one of Nigeria's foremost reggae stars, African China, has returned with two new singles entitled “Boko Haram” and “Gen Gen,” which, apart from currently burning the airwaves across the nation, are also being celebrated on various social media platforms.

The race for the emergence of the latest West African music superstars took a definite turn, last weekend, when two of the 16 contestants, in the MTN Project Fame academy, were eliminated. Sierra Leonean Leonard Massaquoi and Calabar-based Oluchi Isreal became the first contestants to be evicted from the music reality show, having been earlier nominated for elimination alongside Ayoka, Rowland, and Simeon. Where Simeon received the highest votes, by viewers, to remain in the academy, Rowland got the Faculty’s nod to continue on the show, while majority of the other 11 contestants favoured Ayoka.
