Sensational
music group, XProject is back and currently rocking the scene with a new and
very hot video-Azuka.
The explosive
and big budget video was directed by revered cinematographer Clarence Peters.
The new
direction video, in the words of Sam Kargbo, boss of SKP Productions, whose
iconic label discovered and nurtured XProject to an enviable height, the
beautiful Azuka video will be hitting airwaves in the next couple of weeks.
“We took our
time in shooting the Azuka video and a few others that are still being edited.
The Azuka video will change the norm, style, direction and concept of
Music
videos in Nigeria the moment it hits airwaves. We at SKP are very proud and
happy with the video of Azuka. XProject and all their partners really did a
great job on this project of Azuka,”Kargbo, a respected lawyer averred.
Interestingly,
aside the Azuka video, XProject is also ready with their latest album, which
will be hitting the shelves before the end of the next quarter.
Although,
yet untitled, the duo featured a lot of heavy weights in the hugely anticipated
album.
Among
the rave musicians that collaborated with XProject on the star-studded album
were: Olamide, Waje, Omawumi, Mr. Raw Nwanne, LKT and Bigiano.
Commenting
on their new offerings, Saal and Slez, the creative minds powering XProject as
a group, stated that the need to be different, daring and continually creative
led to the birth of Azuka, its video concept as well as the fresh injections in
their forthcoming album.
“We
decided to take a long break in order to concentrate on this album that will be
hitting shelves and airwaves soon. We are dropping the Azuka video and audio
first. Later, the full album will follow suit. We don’t want to talk much. Let our
new work, especially the video of Azuka do the talking for us. We are also full
of appreciation to all our colleagues that collaborated with us on this
project. It was fun and professional working with Olamide, Waje, Omawumi, Raw
Nwanne, LKT and Bigiano. In fact, it was awesome,” hinted the Lorile crooners.
While
Chris Okoro produced the new effort, Zeeno Forster did all the hi-tech
mastering in line with global best practices.
