Ever since he hit limelight, Flavour
Nabania as he is popularly referred to by friends and fans, has never for a
fleeting second rested on his oars in his attempt at gaining global prominence.
From New York to Nairobi, Canada and even France the good tidings of Flavour’s
unique African highlife music is sung. Like an evangelist on a desperate quest
to redeem the world of lost souls, Flavour is taking his rhythm far beyond the
shores of some European countries than he ever imagined especially having
conquered the African terrain.
Flavour who
was christened Chinedu Okoli at birth has just successfully concluded a music
tour of Australia and America where he headlined sold out concerts mostly in
electrifying solo performances in not less than eight cities in both countries
respectively. His excellent musicianship and showmanship skills left behind
indelible memories to be forever cherished by most music enthusiasts that graced
these shows. His first port of call was in
Brisbane on the 14th of June; there he performed before a mammoth crowd that
consisted mostly beautiful ladies who couldn’t get enough of the ladies man. He
proceeded to Sydney on the 15th, and then to Melbourne on the 21st
and concluded the Australia tour in Perth on the 22nd with a farewell
performance that will be remembered for a very long time. The Australia tour
was put together by Millions visions entertainment and 2nite enter 10 ment.
In a seemingly tireless
effort Flavour who has convincingly distinguished himself from the lot as a
complete musician, multitalented instrumentalist, producer and song writer of
repute, replicated his performance on the American leg of his music tour. He
performed in Dallas, Houston, Maryland and New York on July 5th,
6th, 12th and 13th respectively. However in New York it was
no mean feat entertaining before an auditorium filled to capacity with fans who
wanted all of him. It is worthy of note too that rave of the moment and omo
baba olowo crooner; Davido was coincidentally in Houston at the time and as
such seized the opportunity to drop by and show his colleague (Flavour) some
love and both musicians had a great time on stage. The American tour was organized
by Big A entertainment and 2nite enter 10 ment.
Now back from the tour and gathering momentum
to embark on several other projects including a talent hunt contest aimed at
giving back to the society by encouraging other budding artistes; Flavour and
his manager Benjamin Omesiete are currently hibernating at their FESTAC residence
where plans are being perfected for this project, details coming soon!
