As part of activities heralding the
celebration of a two year successful business run in Nigeria of its sister
company, IJK London, leading entertainment outfit, ‘Gazelle Enta10ment’ (G.E.) recently
hosted friends, business associates and Nigeria’s fashion and entertainment
icons to a classy evening of music, comedy and fashion show.
Held at its imposing IJK London Fashion
Suite in Surulere, Lagos, the event attracted top
celebrities in the society, music and movie stars as well as other leading
stakeholders in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
According to a co-partner of G.E.,
Nollywood actress, Jennifer Eliogu, who stated that the event was a two – mode ceremony, with the
ultimate aim of killing two birds with a stone.
"We decided to firstly
appreciate and celebrate clients’ patronage of IJK London for their consistent
loyalty in the last two years and I must say that their patronage has really
been impressive and inspirational not only to the society but to IJK London as
a company.”
Speaking further, Eliogu explained that
the event also aims at officially activating the public launch and presentation
of G.E. in Nigeria. The renowned actress stated that G.E. is an evolution of
the contemporary challenges emanating out of Nigeria’s entertainment industry
and in that view, poised to meet the expectations and yearnings of all
individual Nigerians and other relevant stakeholders in the country’s
entertainment industry. “G.E. is positioned on a tripod mission of adding value
and raising the bar of the entertainment industry especially with particular
attention to music, movie and modeling to the rest of Africa and beyond; its
what I see as a global projection ”.
Buttressing this, her partner, Mr Frank Nwabuani
disclosed that the G.E. concept is a reflection of the inner workings of the
two directos who were challenged with the responsibility to bring in their
diverse experience and value adding resources to bear on the industry.
According to the reputable international businessman, ” We actually conducted a
scientific feasibility research, did consultations, engaged top stakeholders of
the entertainment industry in a fact finding dialogue which to a very large
extent, enlarged our scope as well as enabled us with a platform on which G.E.
is set to activate, deploy and accomplish its mission of making a difference”.
The evening witnessed a showcase of fashion
runway exhibition from IJK London, musical performances and comedy displays by
top Nigerian acts including youthful Tunde Ednut with lots of fun and freebees.
Top celebrities such as Yomi Fash Lanso, Wale Adebayo, Bayo Bankole, Moji
Olaiya, Iyabo Ojo amongst others were all treated to an evening of frills and
thrills.
