Why MultiChoice is pampering subscribers -Ugbe

 The amiable Managing Director of MultiChoice Nigeria, Mr. John Ugbe, has given reasons and rationale propelling the leading pay entertainment company to reward its loyal customers. He disclosed this at the unveiling of the first set of winners that emerged in the outfit’s 20th anniversary promo that recently held in Lagos.
He stressed that rewarding customer loyalty is the rationale for the promotion which offers subscribers once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to experience iconic global events such as the Grammy Awards, Wimbledon Tennis, NBA live games, Formula One and weekend to SunCity, South Africa.
Shedding more light, Ugbe hinted that the company is keen to reward its teeming subscribers for their support in the last 20 years by offering lucky subscribers direct tickets to experience some global entertainment events which DStv and GOtv brands are synonymous with, alongside other consolatory prizes.
“For 20 years, we have kept families together by providing entertainment that is suitable for different ages, income groups and viewing preferences; and we thought that the best way to reward our subscribers this year, is to provide multiple opportunities for them to visit their favourite holiday destinations and meet world-class entertainment personalities at celebrated global events such as the Grammys, Formula One, the NBA and a host of others,” he maintained.
Mr. Ugbe also explained that giving out to subscribers is a culture that MultiChoice Nigeria is synonymous with:
“In MultiChoice, reaching out to our host communities is always the core of our business decisions and we understand that business is about sustainable partnerships with key stakeholders hence our commitment to our Corporate Social Responsibility projects, investments in education, content development and aggregation, cutting-edge technology, TV production equipment and a long line of other capacity building initiatives.”
To qualify for the promo, subscribers are to pay for three months subscription or more on any of the bouquets on either the DStv or GOtv platform to stand a chance to win prizes which include all-expense paid trip to the Grammy awards, Wimbledon Tennis live games, NBA Live games, Formula One and a weekend to SunCity in South Africa for 10 couples. Other prizes include GOtv systems for 20 winners, one year free subscription on the GOtv Plus bouquet for 20 subscribers, N200, 000 cash prizes for 20 winners and Walka 7 Handheld devices for 20 winners.
 
Winners would be announced through four weekly draws at 06:30pm on Monday Night Football on SuperSport, the flagship Sport content provider on the DStv and GOtv platforms.
As part of efforts to celebrate 20 years of successful business operations in Nigeria, MultiChoice Nigeria is rolling out the drums through a series of consumer engagement and customer loyalty campaigns such as the recently held live consumer viewing of the new soccer season in which subscribers interacted with Champions League winning former coach of Chelsea FC, Roberto Di Matteo and the DStv Basketball All-Stars Show-down event
