History is
being made as one of the foremost record labels
in Africa and the last man standing for 50 years in Nigeria is set to
create another sensational record this month. They are set to release the first
ever video collection of the oldest living highlife musician in the world, Dr.
Victor Abimbola Olaiya (O.O.N).this was disclosed by the Special Project
Manager of Premier Records limited, Mr. Michael Odiong.
He said the
event will herald a new sense of documentation of legends that have made their
mark in African entertainment history.
We have
worked very hard to get to where we are now, and we still intend to do more for
our distinguished artistes under us. A collection of 5 video where chosen from
some of his most favorite songs and videos where made to tell a story that
people can relate with. The mot amazing thing is that these songs where done in
the 60s and 70s, yet they are as relevant to the society as any other new
release today. These are what evergreen songs are made of. We want to thank
Spinlet and and all those that have stood by us and believed in us all these
years, especially lovers of good music.
The formal
release will come up on the 20th of October at the historic Stadium
hotel by 4pm and it is strictly by invitation.
