After several months of brainstorming and networking, dance hall music hit maker Baba Dee, is finally poised to drop his long awaited new album. The 14-track work is entitled Boom Box.
Baba Dee, unarguably one of the pioneers of
the current day music industry, has announced that October 15, has been fixed as
the release date for the new album.
Surprisingly,
the music veteran has also changed his name from Baba Dee to K.O.D (King Of Dance hall).
The act that
is fondly called the Boss Wolf has also inked a new management and promotional
deal with fast rising city promotional company Gas Promotion, headed by Ayodele
Odunsi.
The Boom Box
album features artistes like Vector the Viper, Harry song, Sound Sultan, Nomoreloss,
African China among others.
Interestingly,
the album will be released on over 300 online music stores. Hit singles from
the album include: Yemasa (Gum Body) and the new club anthem “ Go Down.”
The repackaged
artiste also announced a monthly live band gig at the SS Lounge, 7 Sapara Williams
street, Victoria Island starting from Saturday, October 26. He is also billed for a brief European tour
in early November.
