M-Net movies premiere is bringing a range of blockbuster movies in October. DStv viewers can look forward to Joyful Noise, Django Unchained, TED and Dark Knight Rises.
Joyful Noise: In Joyful Noise two leads of a choir can’t seem to agree on their strategy for a national competition. To complicate things, there’s romance brewing between one lead’s grandchild and the other’s daughter. Will love conquer all? Tune in to find out on Sunday 6 October at 20:30 CAT.
Django Unchained: Django Unchained follows the story of a slave called Django who is freed by a German bounty hunter named Dr. King Schultz. Schultz in return wants Django to tell him the location of the Brittle brothers. Django becomes a partner and fellow bounty hunter under the Dr’s mentorship. The ultimate fight takes them to the estate of a sadistic plantation owner who is holding Django’s wife against her will. Tune in on Sunday 13 October at 21:30 CAT.
TED: In TED, DStv viewers will also see how John, as a kid, wished his stuffed animal could just come to life and play with him. When that wish becomes reality, John is unprepared for the reality that he's one day going to be an adult with a talking, living teddy bear, TED. While he’s trying to pull his life together and do right by his long-term girlfriend, his stuffed bear has ideas of his own on how to derail his owner’s plans. Undertaking (Premiere): Undertaking follows a confused, young and unemployed artist, Jide. He is in search of love after having divorced his wife, Andrea who is unwilling to sign the divorce papers. A violent and bitter Andrea frames Jide for assault. He soon finds himself in police custody and signs an undertaken which forbids him from ‘assaulting’ Andrea any further. Jide discovers that Andrea had not been totally faithful to him while they were together. He decides to investigate her and soon realizes that her life is in danger.
