International award-winning artiste, Adeniji Heavywind will be performing live in Nigeria, Saturday, October 26 at the ball room of posh Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, starting from 7.p.m.
Tagged: Heavywind and Friends Performing for Charity, tickets for the special evening outing aimed at raising funds in support of breast cancer, are already selling at designated outlets within and outside Lagos.
Endorsed by the Breast Cancer Association of Nigeria (BRECAN), the special evening of quality music and charitable engagements is jointly put together by Miles Ahead Entertainment and Heavywind Studios.
Speaking at a recent media parley organized to further create awareness for the breast cancer ball, Heavywind, a revered producer, songwriter, arranger, composer and multi-instrumentalist with over two decades experience disclosed that the event would be memorable and fun.
The Afro Beat act who has also produced and recorded over 50 songs, with multiple collaborations alongside various artistes across the world, further hinted that he specifically flew in from his US base for the cancer concert.
“Nigerians should stand up and fight the rampaging scourge of cancer. It is a collective war and we are waging ours through music and charity.”
