Enugu agog as Charles Awurum’s Magic Lens returns with season two of talent hunt

Charles Awurum
Displeased by the low quality of films produced and inaction to maximize talents in Nigeria, Magic Lens Pictures limited has embarked on the season two of its talent hunt exercise. The hunt in their words would go a long way in assisting the entertainment industry in the rebuilding of its fallen standards through the discovery of new talents.
The head honcho of Magic Lens Pictures, Charles Awurum disclosed this at a recent media parley, which held in Enugu to formally declare open the season two of the Talent Hunt exercise.
Awurum said the search would be introducing an alternative through hunting and training of newer talents that would help to rescue Nollywood.
“We don’t need to be told that by 2015, the industry we cherish so much will soon head to the rock. Inasmuch as this is not in doubt, we have come together with a plan that would sustain and reposition our industry for better. Of course, last year the season one of this hunt first held; now we are looking up to the second. And this is coming as a way to make our movies acceptable both locally and internationally,” he stated.
