Any hope of reconciliation between Midnight Crew’s Mike Abdul and his gospel singer wife, Vivien Stephens may have been finally dashed. This comes as a big shock to lovers of gospel music who have been looking up to the two for inspiration.
But just when many were beginning to come to terms with the news of the collapse of their marriage another report of a messy separation has emerged involving gospel singer, Flo Nathan-Akinremi and his gospel songstress wife, Efe.

It now appears to be a season of break-ups and marriage splits in the gospel music industry following the latest news involving the marriages of Mike Abdul and Tuale crooner, Flo. 
Like a little spark, the news of a bitter fight between the two started like a rumour but has snowballed into an inferno that has consumed everything that held it together from the beginning.
Insiders revealed that both Vivien Stephen and Efe have moved out of their respective matrimonial homes and are living independently. Although both couples managed their separations and kept it away from the public but it wasn’t for long before it found its way into the public domain.
Last month, Mike Abdul vehemently denied the news of his split with the mother of his daughter. He also swore via his facebook wall, “My name is Mike Abdul. You don't really know the devil's tricks until he plays it on you. May the conscience of evil doers be their judge. When they seek honour, they will not find it. They will not lack shame and misfortune in their generation. They and their supporters shall partake of immense losses. Olu-Famous, Naijapals, Nigerianfilms and all bloggers and media places that have risen to do me evil shall be plagued with evil for the rest of their days. Amin.”
Some weeks later, Delta State-born Vivien Steven has come out to confirm their marriage split. The singer who has worked as vocalist with masked musician, Lagbaja told an online medium that she is now happy being single. While she stopped short of revealing details of the break-up, the fair-skinned singer added that she has handed everything to God.
Similarly, Flo Nathan-Akinremi’s split became very obvious last Friday when he carted six awards at the maiden edition of MEGA Awards. Eyewitnesses told Sunday Express that his wife who was present at the occasion refused to pick the awards on his behalf. Incidentally, the awards were picked by his pal, Mike Abdul whose marriage is also battling a huge crisis.
“I am not surprised about what is happening between Efe and Flo. Marriage for her was like slavery. She dared not utter any word in public except permitted by her hubby. She lived constantly in fear and trepidation of her husband. I saw the body language between them from close quarters at several events,” revealed a source.
Sources told Sunday Express that all interventions by several clergymen have proved abortive and the two ladies are already speaking with lawyers to formalize divorce proceedings.
