Real reasons elder brother, Jude Engees shunned PSquare’s wedding… The insider’s account

Peter                                                                 Jude                                                                              Paul

The shocking absence of Jude 'Engees' Okoye at his younger brother, Peter Okoye’s wedding has sent many tongues wagging; with rumour peddlers spreading gossips of bad blood in the family over the choice of Lola Omotayo as Peter’s wife.

Though the family has counter reacted by stating that Jude was stranded in Ghana, where he had followed the P Square twins for a concert, but conflicting reports have proved otherwise.
Peter and Paul who were also in Ghana for the concert the previous night made it to Nigeria in time for the wedding, thus leaving observers wondering why their manager and elder brother, Jude Engees could not accompany them on the journey back from Ghana. The music manager, who is also a frequent user on Photo sharing platform Instagram, surprisingly did not post a single picture from the said concert in Ghana, instead he posted a picture of himself in a studio alongside Phyno, Wizkid, Don Jazzy and other entertainers at the Mavin Records headquarters which is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Insiders revealed that the family is not happy with Peter’s choice of Lola Omotayo as his wife which is the main reason behind Jude’s boycott and total shunning of the wedding. Reports also alleged that even the late mother of the famous twins was never favourably disposed to Miss Omotayo as his son’s wife and daughter in-law.
Despite Jude’s absence and the controversy it generated, the marriage still turned out a huge success and was witnessed by celebrity friends, family, colleagues and fans of the Pop twins. They all gathered to witness the traditional wedding of Peter Okoye to his baby mother of two, Lola Omotayo.
Faces from all walks of life came to witness the joining of the two lovers as hubby and wife. Guests included celebrities – from Nollywood, musicians, media personalities, politicians and of course, their pals and associates from the Diaspora. Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote, Sayyu Dantata, Folorunsho Alakija, Gov. Peter’s colleagues from the Nigerian music industry were all on hand to thrill guests at the wedding which was hosted by Gbenga Adeyinka.  The groom kicked off the performance of the day after he was told to perform for the guests by the MC, Adeyinka.
