This is definitely a sad news for our nation as it has been disclosed that over 400 Nigerians are currently languishing in Chinese prisons over drugs related offences.
And painfully, drug related offences in China carry the death penalty for both citizens and foreigners. The perturbed Nigerian ambassador to China, Aminu Wali, made the shocking disclosure in a recent chat with journalists. He also revealed that the higher number of prisoners incarcerated in most parts of the world are Nigerians.
