GOtv subscribers who pay one month GOtv or GOtv Plus subscription using a GOtv recharge card will qualify
for an instant lucky dip at selected GOtv and dealer offices in the 13 cities
where GOtv operates. Those who buy a decoder or pay two months subscriptions
within the promo period qualify for city draws to participate in the GOshoppers’
experience.
Speaking at a media briefing to unveil the festive promo,
general manager GOtv, Mrs Elizabeth Amkpa stated thatsince GOtv commenced operations two years ago it has become
known for innovation, excitement and family entertainment.
“GOtv has
excited the market by reducing the offer price from N9,900 to N5,300 (for a
decoder and 1 month subscription). We
have excited the market by adding more channels to the bouquets – from 27
channels at launch in 2011; GOtv Plus now has 40 channels although subscription
rates have remained unchanged. Today, we to announce yet another exciting offer
– GOcarry am”, said Mrs Amkpa.
She added that being
an innovative brand, the ‘GOcarry am’ is GOtv’s innovative way of enhancing
family ties this festive season.
For the GOshoppers’
experience, 100 families will
get 2 minutes to grab all they can at SPAR outlets in Lagos, Ibadan and Port
Harcourt,and choice retail stores in the other cities. Other prizes in the

GOtv intends to reward over 120,000 subscribers for the duration of the
GOcarry am, and the total worth of prizes up for grabs has been put at over fifty
million naira (N50,000,000). GOtv also stated that some of the raffle draws for
the GOshoppers’ experience will hold at Lagos Television (LTV).
