Barely two weeks after holding the well publicised Music and Entertainment Gospel Awards, popularly known as MEGA, the prime mover and founder, Femi Akintunde Johnson (FAJ) has again announced that all is set for MEGA Music Workshop. The event holds on December 4, at Prince Lounge, 27 Oyedele Ogunniyi Street, Anthony Village, Lagos.

According to FAJ, the theme of the workshop is, ‘Re-inventing the creative force in Nigeria music industry.’ A statement made available to us reads thus: “The first session will dwell on ‘Composition and Production: Creating and Sustaining Eternal Music’ and will be chaired by Laolu Akins- renowned musician, foremost composer/producer, musician’s rights activist and top studio executive.
“The second session will dwell on the topic, “The Artiste as a Successful Brand: Fame, Faith and Fortune. The moderator will be Gloria Rhodes-tutor, singer, administrator and a coach. “While the third session which will be chaired by Funmi Onabolu–Group Managing Director, COSSE Ltd- revolves around the topic, Developing a Business Consciousness in the Management of the Creative Process.”

The event which is proudly supported by First Bank of Nigeria and Prince of Anthony Hotel is expected to add more verve and razzmatazz to the nation’s gospel music industry.

“We know that countless Nigerian artistes are wasting away for lack of adequate and sustained exposure and appreciation. It is to this onerous task that we have invited many of our professional colleagues, associates, stakeholders and allied practitioners to join us in creating a solid pedestal that will recharge our artistes to give more of their talents and craft in the exaltation of the Most High,” FAJ further explains in the statement.
