Question of the day: What has Bayelsa State gained from Hosting AMAA for almost a decade?

AMAA boss, Peace Anyiam Osigwe                                           Bayelsa Gov,  Seriake Dickson
We have been overwhelmed by the noise of Bayelsa State hosting the
annual Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) for several years now and
spending millions of Dollars so far. But has anyone asked for an
audit? What has Bayelsa gained so far? Does Bayelsa have a film
commission to maximize the investment in AMAA? How many indigenes of
Bayelsa has the African Film Academy of AMAA trained so far? How many
of the few African American Hollywood stars paid millions of Naira to
attend and smile at crowds at AMAA every year have come back on their
own  as tourists or to use the so called exotic tourist attractions as
locations of their Hollywood movies? How many of the foreigners who
saw AMAA on CNN have come even in dozens to Bayelsa as tourists?

Can
the Bayelsa State government and organizers of AMAA show the
socio-cultural and socio-economic results of the millions spent on
hosting AMAA for nearly a decade, in facts and figures?
