After a successful Nigeria release of Single and Married in 2012, Silverbird
Distributions Limited will on Friday, August 15,
release the sequel to this award winning movie entitled Single, Married and Complicated to the
delight of movie lovers across Nigeria.
A statement sent to SHOWBIZPLUSng said the movie which will be released
simultaneously across cinemas in Nigeria with a red carpet premiere holding
exclusively at the Victoria Island location of Silverbird Galleria, Lagos,
will parade stars from Nollywood, Ghollywood and other
entertainment icons from various sectors alongside her fans and supporters who
have been anticipating the release of the movie since the first part hit the
cinemas two years ago.
The
star-studded movie which features Yvonne Nelson supported by an all star cast
from Nigeria and Ghana including Chris Attoh, Eddie Watson, Anita Erskine, and Tana
Adelana who were part of the original movie while John Dumelo, John Gardiner,
Alexx Ekubo and Eazzy join the team to make for an even more interesting
sequel.
The
steamy romantic comedy which was produced by Yvonne Nelson Productions is written
and directed by award winning director, Pascal Amanfo was described by Yvonne
Nelson as a natural follow up of all to give a sweet finish to a great tale.
She said the movie could be likened to its original because it is no holds
barred movie loaded with excitement and that movie enthusiast should brace up
for a thrilling experience in the cinemas.
Single, Married and Complicated
is a captivating movie based on an everyday story that the ordinary African can
relate to. It is once again told in a narrative form, with Anita Erskine as the
narrator. The movie centres on the characters Jay, Kimora, Andy, and Vida who
return to a re-plotted tale of love, life and living it as they seek to find an
answer to the question... What do Men really want? Though the answers may be
many but at the end of it all we realise that many will be single, some married
and quite a few... simply complicated.
