Madam Testimony thrilling |
Fast rising gospel music sensation, Biola Akintomide,
has launched her sophomore album to the delight of music lovers in Lagos.
The
promising music act who delivered a show-stopping and electrifying performance
kept her audience on their feet and asking for more. Indeed, the audience
savoured each music rendition at the prestigious M.A.N event centre, Ikeja,
venue of the album launch.
The album entitled The
Storm is over, SHOWBIZPLUSng gathered is a 4 track composition that was produced by music
producer/ arranger extraordinaire, Richard Efunbote. The audience danced and
enjoyed every live performance during the album launch as Biola Akintomide aka
Madam Testimony enthralled her fans with her stagecraft.
According to the energetic and consummate Afro-soul
singer whose musical repertoire bears a semblance with Tope Alabi, Madam
Testimony believes that her music is meant to inspire and heal wounded souls.
‘‘As a gospel singer, I believe that beyond the entertainment value one should
derive from my music, it should also minister healing and life to people. My
songs cut across every aspects of life; and like the title of the album
depicts, there is hope for us, even in the worst situations’’.
The producer, Mr Richard Efunbote in his remarks,
disclosed that the album is a combination of modern trends in music that give
delight to everyone that have preference for good gospel music. He added that,
in few months the songs will be available in major music store and the online
audience will enjoy it on youtube and other platforms to reach audience in
Nigeria and beyond.
Audience at the album launch revelled at every live
performance which offers hope for restoration for a generation. One of the
popular tracks that got the audience enraptured was “Baba to S’ekun mi derin” ,
which means ‘The God that turned my sorrow to joy’.
As the occasion wound down, it became very clear to
attendees at the album launch that Madam Testimony’s album is a must buy for
homes, car owners, shop owners and other places where music can be propagated
for positive living.
