He said, “The prayer though written in 1993 touches all the troubling issues in Nigeria today. This period calls for sober reflections and spiritual awakening. It is a crucial period for us as knights of the Church to rise and shine as lights in a decadent world.” He also advised the Knights of the Order of Saint Mulumba to take family devotions and spiritual activities serious as it helps to build stable families and strong characters.  He said, “, “Most families plan on how to go on vacations but do not pay attention to spiritual matters. As families, plan and attend spiritual retreats together. It will deepen the family faith as Catholics and ensure that the children are well instructed in the teachings and traditions of the church. It will strengthen their Christian Faith”. If our families are spiritually strong, the families will be united and peaceful. Then our country Nigeria will be in unity, strong and peaceful.
