Shame as PSquare's family fight gets messier

Just like they sang in one of their hit songs, there is ‘danger and wahala’ in the once peaceful home of the Okoye brothers, famously known as P Square, this SHOWBIZPLUSng can authoritatively report.

And if not properly checkmated, the looming danger may soon consume the brothers and their music empire.

Truth is that the lingering family feud threatening to end the prosperous careers of the Okoye brothers, recently reared its ugly head again like a hydra-headed monster.

This is coming when many, especially their teeming fans and colleagues are thinking that normalcy has returned in the Okoye’s household.

The first discord in the family, which the media and general public feasted heavily on involved the P Square duo and their elder brother, Jude famously known as Engees fighting themselves.

This latest feud that has set tongues wagging and trending heavily on social media is between Peter and Jude alone, while Paul on the other hand, is watching closely and maintaining a silence many have described as worrisome.

This new war that was ignited by Peter’s deliberate absence at Jude’s recent traditional wedding to his heartthrob in Anambra State, has further exposed the disunity and discord reigning supreme in the home of the Okoye’s.

In fact, there are strong fears among insiders that the embattled group may never recover from this latest threat to their fragile unity and co-existence. 

Few days after deliberately missing out at his elder brother’s wedding that was attended by his other half, Paul, unrepentant Peter further fanned the embers of discord with a controversial declaration that his children were more important to him than his siblings. 

The statement, which many of their colleagues and shocked fans viewed as controversial was his response to the deluge of criticisms that trailed his absence from the wedding of Jude who equally doubles as their manager.

"People talking sh*t about blood. Which blood is thicker than the one of my children? #mufus," he wrote.

Out of control Peter, followed suit with more controversial tweets, obviously aimed at his elder brother and those casting his move.

“Just to remind some mufus, PSQUARE is PETER & PAUL and I am sure you know what that means. Talk shit again and you would be blocked. 

Mufus talking about family! My number one family for now is the one I have built and nobody can change that. 

People talking shit about blood is thicker than water, please which blood is thicker than the one of my children?”

Obviously, with the above comments, it is crystal clear that things are falling apart in the P Square house hold.

However, the question many are asking is why Paul has chosen to remain silent while the house he suffered to build is currently on fire and razing from within.

Some insiders are insinuating that Paul does not want to be drawn into this messy fight involving his twin brother and elder brother. In as much as we would love them to remain together and continue working as a team, there seems to be very little that he could do to avoid the clear and present danger enveloping their family, music careers and business empire.
