Ahead of 2015 Oscars, the Nigerian
Oscar’s Selection Committee (NOSC) has called for the submission of Nigerian
movies for the “Best Foreign Language” category of the popular American movie
awards.
SHOWBIZPLUSng
learnt that any movie released in
Nigeria between October 2013 and September 2014 which has been publicly
screened should be submitted for possible inclusion in the nominations of the
highly rated awards.
The criteria for selection include
originality in story as well as good directing, acting, cinematography and
sound. The committee has also revealed that the deadline for submission of any
movie is Wednesday, July 16, 2014.
