It is no longer
news that emerging female singer, Cynthia Akudo-Jonah is dead, what many,
especially her fans are oblivious of is the fact that the act famously known as
Cynthomania died in a very painful way after a brief illness, which
SHOWBIZPLUSng gathered was triggered by an undisclosed ailment.
Sadly, her
demise occurred when the music industry and the whole nation are still mourning
the death of gospel sensation.
The Imo State-born
entertainer passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Her management through a
statement revealed that the singer died after a brief illness.
Before her
death, Cynthia Akudo-Jonah who is also known as Cynthomania was an up and coming
singer working hard to hit fame in the Nigerian music industry. She had
collaborated with dance hall star Timaya, on a singer entitled ‘Love Nwantiti’.
It
was also revealed that the singer was planning to release her debut album
before her sudden and painful death.
