Since it was made public, mixed reactions have
continued to trail the recent appointment of Mrs. Roli Bode-George by President
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as the Director-General of the National Drug Law
Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Several Nigerians who spoke with SHOWBIZPLUSng
reacted differently to the appointment. While some hailed Jonathan for making
the right choice, others equally criticized him for choosing Mrs. George as the
boss of the apex narcotics busting body.
Mrs. George takes over from Mr. Olufemi Ajayi, who is now
the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
According to a statement sent to SHOWBIZPLUSng by the Presidential Spokesman, the
appointment is with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, pretty Roli, is the wife of PDP chieftain and ex convict, Chief Bode George.
