The entire Nollywood is currently in
tears following the sudden and mysterious deaths of two costumiers within a
spate of one week, this SHOWBIZPLUSng can authoritatively and exclusively
report.
Banku Okwuchi Agbai, SHOWBIZPLUSng learnt died on Friday, May 30, while Lizzy Ogbodo fondly called
Mama Lizzy passed on June 7, 2014.
The former based and worked in Lagos
before her sudden demise, while the latter resided and operated from her Enugu
base.
They were both active members of the
Creative Designers Guild of Nollywood (CDGN), with Ogbodo heading the guild’s task
force in the coal city.
A bereaved member of the guild, who
confirmed both deaths, said CDGN is already planning and consulting with their
respective families on how to give their departed colleagues befitting burials.
Meanwhile, the wake keep of Enugu-based
actor Chris Nkolor who died in April, held on June 9 with several of his colleagues
in attendance.
