It is no
longer news that pretty Zibili Evelyn famously known as Evelle has emerged
winner of the 2014 edition of Nigerian Idol.

can authoritatively report that what is perhaps news and trending is the fact that she has
joined the long list of Nigerians who became rich and famous overnight using
the many platforms provided by talent hunt shows.
At the
grand finale which held last Saturday, June 7, 2014, the emerging songbird was
crowned the Nigerian Idol winner amid applause and jubilations.
Evelle
defeated her fellow contestants, taking home N7.5m, a record deal with
Universal Music Company, an iPhone, iPad, and a brand new SUV.
The 23-year-old
joins Yeka Onka (Nigerian Idol, 2011), Mercy Chinwo (Nigerian Idol, 2012) and
Moses (Nigerian Idol 3013) in the league of Idols winners.
Eye-D, the runner-up,
walks away with the sum of N1m and a brand new car.
