This is
definitely cheering news for the teeming fans of gospel music star, Kefee, who
has been in a state of coma for almost a week now has.
Unconfirmed news
filtering into SHOWBIZPLUSng has it that the Delta State-born entertainer has
regained consciousness.
The
‘Branama Queen’ collapsed last week inside a plane while on a flight to Chicago,
thus forcing the plane to make an emergency stopover in order for her to
receive urgent medical attention.
Though the
singer came on Twitter to assure fans that she was alright and doing fine, she
however collapsed again and went into coma hours later. Her husband confirmed
the singer was in grave danger and urged fans to pray for her.
“Kefee
wants her friends, fans and well-wishers to know that she loves them. We just
need prayers now; she just needs our prayers now because there is nothing God
cannot do; prayer is the key. God is still the same yesterday, today and
forever, He has done it before and he will do it again”, Teddy Don-Momoh
husband of Kefee said in a statement.
Meanwhile,
several unconfirmed media reports linked the singer’s collapse and subsequent state
of coma to her being diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, a pregnancy disorder caused
by high blood pressure.
