This is
certainly not the best of times for Nigerian Pop star, Tuface Idibia.
The father of
seven SHOWBIZPLUSng exclusively learnt is a currently in pain due to the bad
news of his dear dad being diagnosed with Prostate Cancer recently.
The Benue
State-born singer revealed the shocking news himself at the CECP Cancer Charity
event which held at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on
Sunday, June 8.
Sources at
the cancer awareness event revealed that the singer first shared the news
backstage with teen saxophonist TJ Sax, before sharing it with shocked guests
present at the gathering.
Sources
inside Idibia’s camp however told us the Prostate Cancer is still at its
mildest stage. Mr. Idibia who will be turning 68 next month, is expected to
commence chemotherapy soon, in a bid to stop the spread of the deadly virus.
Prostate
Cancer is a form of cancer that develops in the prostate, a gland in the male
reproductive system.
