GOtv grabs Okocha, Oliseh, others for World Cup coverage

SuperSport has rolled out a galaxy of football idols who will be analysing matches for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, starting in June.
 SHOWBIZPLUSng gathered that Nigerian football legends Jay Jay Okocha and Sunday Oliseh have joined the line-up of big-name football personalities; including Manchester United star Ryan Giggs, former World Cup winner Marcel Desailly of France, English legend John Barnes and former Spanish star Gaizka Mendieta to bring viewers the best football action and commentary.

 
They will also be joined by Sammy Kuffour (Ghana) Shaun Bartlett, Andre Arendse, Andy Townsend, Neil Tovey, Ernst Middendorp, Ruud Krol, Stuart Baxter, Gavin Hunt and Doctor Khumalo (South Africa).
 
Reflecting its Pan-African interests, SuperSport will have dedicated crews following African powerhouses Ghana and Nigeria, ensuring viewers get the very latest news from the playing camps.

SuperSport has invested in the best technology to ensure that viewers get the best digital quality picture on and off the field.
 
For the first time, the World of Champions’ presentation will include augmented reality, utilising the latest technology. Using high-end graphics, SuperSport will take viewers into 3-D representations of all stadiums, enabling experts to analyse the game like never before. This is the first time this technology will be used on the continent.
