Fresh
off the release of his widely acclaimed debut album “Open Doors”, Chocolate
City's Gospel music sensation NOSA has just signed a contract with
global brand UNILEVER.
The deal, SHOWBIZPLUSng learnt will have
the Anglo–Dutch
multinational consumer goods company license NOSA’s popular “Why You Love
Me” track exclusively for advertising campaigns of the Close Up brand,
and is said to
worth over ten million Naira.
NOSA
elated at signing the deal says, “It is a most exciting opportunity to be the
“sound” of a brand I used as a kid. It shows how dreams can come true as long
as one stays committed to their art.”
The
Head of Licensing, and General Manager of Chocolate City, Ibukun Abidoye says,
“The deal has the potential to push NOSA’s music further globally as it covers
worldwide online advertising campaigns"
The track
“Why You Love Me”, which you must have been hearing on the newly launched Close
Up Naija Herbal toothpaste radio jingles, was nominated as the Crystal
Awards 2014 “Song Of The Year”
