Popular Nollywood actor/producer, Emeka Rollas needs the prayers of all his fans, friends and well wishers as information reaching www.samurahblog.com has it that he may have relapsed into coma after a successful major surgery in the city of New Orleans in United States of America.
Rollas who is the immediate past National Secretary of Actors Guild of Nigeria under Segun Arinze, known by most of his colleagues in the motion picture politicking in the last four years had undergone two major surgeries. The first was in 2012 when he was operated upon for Anal Fistula in an Indian Hospital called Primus Specialist Hospital at Karo, Abuja. The recent is the second one.
Although Anal surgeries have to do with piles/hemorrhoids often insinuated for gay men, Rollas has never been associated with gay in the industry.
A close source hinted that the filmmaker looked pale during his last film location in Asaba and at the traditional wedding of his colleague, Omaka Rising in Mbaise, Imo State.
Another revealed also that Rollas was almost a shell of himself when he bade him goodbye at the Murtala Mohammed airport on his departure to Obama’s country.
The source added that even when officers were cheering him through immigration checks, he didn’t smile but just nod his head as someone who had lost hope.
However, some of his close friends confirmed they were aware he was due for a surgery which he kept to himself due to its financial implication, and relationship with many sick Nollywood practitioners taking to social media to raise funds for health challenges.
