Armed robbers who robbed comedian Basketmouth on September 7 have been arrested by the police
The robbers were arrested in Lekki area of Lagos with two AK 47 rifles and live ammunition

In the wee hours of September 7, 2016, the home of ace comedian Basketmouth was raided by dare-devil armed robbers at gun point. The robbers made away with cash and some other valuables from the home of the comedian.
The good news concerning that theft is that two of the suspected armed robbers who allegedly attacked the stand-up comedian, Bright Okpocha fondly referred to as Basketmouth and his family in their Lekki home have been arrested by the police.
According to pmexpressng, the suspects were arrested in Ilasan area of Lekki, Lagos, following an operation led by the female Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Titilayo Oluwasanmi Oriyomi.
It was gathered that the police during the operation recovered two AK47 rifles and live ammunition which the suspects hid at their armory hideout
Three weeks after his house was robbed Basketmouth lost his mum on October 3, 2016 after a brief illness. Basketmouth is one of the most traveled stand up comedian in Nigeria. He has been around for a while and thus becoming a household name.
His comedy shows Lord of the Ribs and Basketmouth Uncensored have earned him big money home and abroad thus making him one of the richest comedians in the country. naij
