In the latest draws, Port-Harcourt based
Mr Nduka Obiajulu won a return ticket for a couple to the National Basketball
Association (NBA) games in the United States of America while the duo of Mr
Gbenga Olumilua and Pastor Wale Ogunsola each won return tickets for a couple
to witness Wimbledon Tennis games live in 2014. Mr Nnaemeka Ejike won a cash
prize of N200, 000. The winners were at the MultiChoice Nigeria office for the
media presentation of prizes
Chioma Afe, Marketing Manager, DStv, at
the official presentation of prizes to the winners, which held at the
MultiChoice head office in Lagos on Wednesday, 30 October 2013, expressed
MultiChoice’s joy at rewarding more Nigerians who have contributed to the
success of the brand through their loyalty over the years. “For 20 years,
MultiChoice, through its DStv platform and recently GOtv, has being an entertaining
brand. The brand has evolved over time and now caters to the need of every
family member no matter their size, interest and economic spectrum.”
Mrs Afe added that MultiChoice has
successfully democratized pay-tv in the country by constantly lowering cost of
acquiring and enjoying pay-tv services, and by offering premium quality
programming and content at affordable prices.
Segun Fayose, Head of Public Relations,
MultiChoice Nigeria, congratulated the new set of winners and announced that winners
from the last round of draws will also be unveiled to the press within a week

promo for our subscribers who have stayed with us through thick and thin; and
MultiChoice is not done yet as the company has a culture of giving back to its
subscribers as a token of appreciation,” Mr Fayose added.
The MultiChoice Nigeria 20th
anniversary promo is expected to produce 10 couple winners of return tickets to
five iconic events and holiday destinations, which include: Grammy Awards,
Wimbledon Tennis games, NBA Basketball games, Formula 1 competition, and a
weekend get-away at Sun City, South Africa. Other prizes include: twenty GOtv
systems; one year GOtv Plus subscription for 20 subscribers; N200, 000 for 20
winners, and 20 Walka 7 handheld devices to lucky winners.
Mr Fayose said that the second round of
draws produced 8 winners of GOtv decoders, 8 winners of One year GOtv Plus
subscription, 8 winners of N200, 000 cash and 8 winners of Walka 7 handheld
devices, while two couples each emerged as winners of all-expense paid trips to
live Wimbledon Tennis and NBA Basketball games respectively. To qualify for the
draw, subscribers had to pay their subscription upfront for three months or
more on any of the five DStv bouquets or either of the two GOtv bouquets to stand
the chance of winning
