MTN, Nigeria’s foremost ICT and mobile telecommunications company, will storm four of Nigeria’s cities with its array of musical superstars and ambassadors in a ‘mother-of-all’ musical concert tagged ‘Loud in Naija’, from November 8th, in Ibadan, and all through the month in Port Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos. This has been classified as one of those convergences of stars that will set the tone for a fun-filled yuletide season.
Some
of the artistes lined up for the shows are Wizkid, KCEE, Iyanya, Don Jazzy, Dr.
Sid, Sound Sultan, Tiwa Savage, Praiz, Chidinma and other Project Fame’s
graduates that include Oyinkansola and many more.
As
it is customary in preparing for the flow of goodwill, merriment and
candour that usually sorround the end of the year, the need to provide
great experiences and entertain Nigerians, such that every cadre of the
society get into the grove, to sustain momentum towards
the season of goodwill, necessitated the convergence of the company’s
musical
superstars and ambassadors.
Meanwhile,
some of the artistes that will be performing at the concerts have geared up
their preparations. They have not hidden their desires to entertain their fans
in all the four cities. Sound Sultan, who is doing so well on the air-waves,
has expressed his readiness going by feelers. KCEE who just released his album
also spoke about his willingness to deliver a most memorable performance.
The
concerts are seen by many as timely. Knowing that the year is rounding off,
Nigerians, especially the youths, seek momentum and social expression. This can
only be found at great events, precisely concerts where they will have the
opportunities to meet their favourite musical stars. The ‘Loud in Naija’
concerts will ensure participants have opportunities to meet the superstars
that are well idolised across the country.
MTN
has a record of providing its host community with life enriching
entertainment. Over the years, it has worked with highly rated
entertainers in the Nigerian music industry and those from the foreign
scene but, this time, by lining up its Project Fame's graduates like
Oyinkansade, besides Chidinma and Praiz, with the well-established
ambassadors, the company is proving it can indeed breed superstars that
can compete on the bigger stage.
