All is now set for the Glo Campus Storm music concert scheduled to hold at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, on Friday, November 11, according to a statement sent to DAYLIGHT.NG.
The much talked-about Glo Campus Stormconcert has elicited much interest from students across the country who inquire about the admission requirements and locations where the event will hold.
The music concert has already been held in four institutions, namely, the University of Port Harcourt where it kicked off, the Enugu Campus of the University of Nigeria, the Federal Polytechnic Nekede and the University of Uyo where it held last Friday.
The University of Uyo event, like the others before it, was a tremendous success and pulled an unprecedented crowd including students and members of staff of the institutions and entertainment lovers from outside the school.
Leading music stars expected to perform at the UNN concert include hip hop act Runtown, Mavin Records artiste and the ‘I don’t get alert’ crooner, Korede Bello, and Glo ambassador, Chinedu Okoli, popularly called Flavour. Gordons is expected to reel out jokes as he doubles as the MC, while DJ Neptune will be the disc jockey.
Globacom said the Glo Campus Storminitiative was developed to entertain Nigerian students and also give them the opportunity of winning fantastic prizes and becoming Glo Campus ambassadors.
Nineteen other Nigerian campuses will host the 2016 edition of Glo Campus Storm. “Students wishing to attend the concert in any of the campuses are required to recharge their Glo lines with N500 Campus Booster plan to be admitted into the show”, the statement added.
