According to popular comedian, AY who is also the
Managing Director of the rave lounge in a chat with SHOWBIZPLUSng, the
Soft-Opening allowed his team to test the operations, procedures, and equipment
of the facility.
“Having successfully done that, we are prepared to
host Most Valuable Players from all sectors in Lagos: entertainment, sports,
politics, oil & gas, banking, real estate, manufacturing and so on from
Friday, September 26, 2014.”
Giving reasons for the all-white dress code for the
opening night, elated AY explained that MVP was designed to redefine nightlife.
“We want to take it where it should be and the All-White
dress code for us, totally reflects this. It awakens our creativity and it
represents a successful beginning. We want Lagosians to wipe the slates of
their partying minds clean of whatever notions they have about nightlife up
till now because we are here to show them how it ought to be.”
He further disclosed that celebrities and other guests
already had their invites to the Grand Opening which will have DJ Jimmy Jatt,
DJ Xclusive and DJ Spinall thrilling guests to the time of their lives as part
of the entertainment lined up for the night.
“The events of the night which is supported by Moet
& Chandon will be broadcast live on HIP TV, one of the media partners of
the MVP brand,” he added.
