Academy
award winning actor Denzel Washington and acclaimed director of the
award winning box office movies ‘Training Day’ ( 2001) and Olympus has
fallen (2014), Antoine Fuqua, recently teamed up for ‘Equalizer’, a Sony Pictures
movie, which hits cinemas from Friday, September 26, 2014.
The action packed thriller
which is distributed across West Africa by Silverbird Film Distribution, sees Denzel re-teaming up with his Training Day director, Antonie Fuqua for a dark and violent reboot of the 1980s Equalizer TV series. Lovers of action movies are in for an experience as The Equalizer will deliver something worthwhile and leave them gasping for more and not without good reason.
In
the movie, Denzel Washington plays McCall, a man who believes he has
put his Special Forces past behind him and dedicated himself to
beginning a new, quiet life. But when McCall meets Teri (Chloë
Grace Moretz), a young girl under the control of ultra-violent Russian
gangsters, he can’t stand idly by – he has to help her. McCall comes out
of his self-imposed retirement and finds his desire for justice
reawakened. If someone has a problem, if the odds are stacked against
them, if they have nowhere else to turn, McCall will help. He is The
Equalizer.
This
star studded movie boasts of music soundtrack from Eminem track ‘Guts
Over Fear’, has Denzel Washington as its lead character, Chloe Grace
Moretz ( If I Stay), Bill Pullman ( Edge of Tomorrow ), Oscar winner,
Melissa Leo ( Prisoners ), and Marton Csokas ( Amazing Spider Man2, Sin
City) as the
villain
