Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) recently paid a condolence visit to Entertainment
Express and Sunday Express Newspapers on the recent demise of its Associate

Speaking during the solemn visit, popular actor and
chairman of the chapter, Victor Osuagwu, who described the late Igwe as one of
his favourite columnists, said the sad news hit them like a thunder bolt.
“I was abroad when the sad news reached me and
members of my excos. It was a huge and painful loss, but we cannot question
God. On behalf of myself, family, excos and entire members of the AGN Lagos
chapter, accept our condolences. We decided to come here as a team to mourn and
commiserate with you, the editor and your team because of the respect we have
for Mr. Igwe and the entertainment tabloids himself and his mourning ‘twin
brother’, Mike Awoyinfa gave the nation’s entertainment industry. God will also
console the family he left behind and all of you at EE and SE. AGN equally
shares in your pains and grief, because in the last three years, your papers
have always supported us hugely in all our events. God will comfort all of you
as you carry on with your duties in this trying moment,” Osuagwu stated.
Responding, editor of the newspapers, Mr. Azuh
Amatus, thanked Osuagwu and his team for visiting and equally assured them of
the papers continued support and impartial reporting and coverage of their
