MultiChoice pampers DStv subscribers with thrilling contents

As children prepare to go on holiday, MultiChoice Nigeria, the nation’s leading pay-tv operators, has lined up mind-blowing content for DStv kids this month.

Speaking with SHOWBIZPLUSng on the schedule of contents specially packaged for children and cartoon-loving parents, Caroline Oghuma, Public Relations Manager, MultiChoice Nigeria, said the kids would get to watch a brand new show called Grojband on Cartoon Network from Monday, April 7, at 05:25 pm.

Oghuma explained that Grojband is about the spontaneous and rock-driven life of young, passionate musician, Corey Riffin, and his three best friends Laney, Kin, and Kon.

Together, they create the ultimate rock band to pass the time. The problem: they haven't the slightest clue how to write good lyrics. Follow the band as they try to create the best lyrics, always ending in a great show.

She highlighted that parents are not left out in the lineup of programme as DStv would from Thursday 10 April at 07:00pm also showcase Iyanla Fix My Life: ‘Fix My Backstabbing Friends’ airs on TLC Entertainment.  Iyanla travels to Chicago to find out why six women who are friends can't get along. The Six Brown Chicks was a group of savvy bloggers, who set out to do good for other women. In just a few weeks, the Six Brown Chicks caught the attention of a local television station. Six months later, the partnership crumbles due to jealousy, anger and backstabbing. Now, there is no television show, the blog is stalled and their relationships are torn apart. In order to mend their destructive friendship, Iyanla puts all six women together for an unforgettable retreat.

Oghuma noted that lovers of local programmes would also get to watch Lagos Cougars on Africa Magic Entertainment on Sunday 13 April at 09:00 pm. “Three professional, single ladies in their forties, bored with life decide to let go of their inhibitions and take a walk on the wild side. They indulge in relationships with some young, hot studs,” she said.

Oghuma urged DStv subscribers to catch some of these exciting movies on the all-new DStv Explora. The DStv Explora is a new PVR decoder which increased hard drive capacity. This allows a user to watch 4 x times more content while providing an improved Video On Demand experience with DStv Catch Up and an increase in recording capacity of 220 hours of personal recordings.
