This is definitely a cheering news
for the teeming fans of Nigerian music star Joshua Iniyezo popularly known as
Solidstar. SHOWBIZPLUSng learnt that the talented crooner on the label of
Achievas Entertainment, recently signed an ambassadorial deal with the Nigerian
Football Supporters Club, to compose and perform the theme song for Brazil
2014.
The deal will have Solidstar record
the official Super Eagles theme song which will be used to unite and inspire
the players on and off the pitch.
Dr. Rafiu Oladipo who represented
the Nigeria Football Federation and doubles as president of the supporters club
explained the choice of Solidstar.
. “We picked Solidstar because we
needed someone one who is passionate about Nigeria football and who has that
gyration in his voice and who the new and old generation can relate with. ”
The “Skibo” and “Omotena” exponent
appreciated the football association and the supporters club and said he was
humbled by Dr. Oladipo’s kind words and promised he won’t disappoint in the new
project.
‘Expect something gyrating,
something that will lift the spirit of the whole players, coaching staff, the
supporters and the whole country, Solidstar assured’.
Also speaking, the youthful boss of
Achievas Entertainment, Paul Chiori, hailed the move and promised that his
prized act, Solidstar, would definitely inspire the Eagles to victory in Brazil
with his songs and presence.
