As part of the activities lined up for Nigeria’s 53 Independence, Achievas Entertainment golden boy, Joshua Iniyenzo famously known as Solidstar will be dropping his anticipated second studio album on October 1.
Sensationally dubbed
Grace and Glory, the star-studded work according to the Delta State-born hugely
gifted entertainer would revolutionize and reposition the nation’s hip hop
scene.
Grace and Glory, which has been hailed by
pundits and critics, is hitting airwaves after the successful release of
several hit singles like Omotena, Skibo, Oluchi and most recently One Nigeria,
off the wondrous album.
Interestingly, several
of Solidstar’s colleagues supported him by featuring in the great work that
boasts of 22 solid tracks.
Among them are: Olamide,
Flavour, Timaya, Inyanya, Xcellente, Vector and a host of others.
In the words of elated Solidstar, One Nigeria
is a unity song that is, “specially dedicated to the centenary celebration of
the country as an entity, ahead of next year’s celebration. “It is our little
contribution to the unity, peace and love that our nation needs, especially at
this critical moment.”
Also speaking, the boss of Achievas
Entertainment Mr. Paul Cole Chiori (Ossy) stated that the album was a follow up
to Solidstar’s debut entitled One In A Million.
“He showed class and
maturity in his delivery and lyrics. Solidstar has been growing from strength to
strength in the music business and we are very proud of his humble achievements
so far.”
Youthful Ossy, further
disclosed that two hot videos would soon be dropped on air alongside a show at
O2 Arena in London on October 6.
“These and many more are
all the activities we’ve lined up for the new album. Flavour, Olamide and Eddie
Khadi are all part of the London show, which is being organized by Cokor Bar,”
he added.
Meanwhile, the new work will be
marketed and distributed by Obaino Music.
