Comedy Court International honours Azuh Amatus, EE with awards

Entertainment Express newspaper and its youthful editor, Azuh Amatus were recently honoured with double awards of excellence by Comedy Court International at its inaugural outing tagged: ‘Comedy Court Live’.

While presenting the first award to EE, the initiator and prime mover, Onyemaechi Moran Chikere hailed EE as the most creative entertainment newspaper that has contributed hugely to the entertainment and comedy industries in Nigeria.

“EE is an outstanding comedy/entertainment supportive newspaper,” parts of the citation read.

Also for his immense contributions to the growth of the comedy and entertainment industries in general, a special award of excellence was also presented to the cerebral editor of Entertainment Express and Sunday Express, Azuh Amatus.

According to the organizers, Azia, Ihiala, Anambra State-born Azuh was honoured as an outstanding entertainment journalist in Nigeria.

“We are endorsing Azuh with this award of excellence for his immense contributions to comedy/entertainment in Nigeria through creative entertainment journalism.”

The hugely attended comedy show dubbed “Comedy Court Live” held at Festac Town, Lagos.

Also honoured at the gathering were famous entertainers and entertainment promoters such as: Ali Baba, Obaino, TJoe among others.
