Red Hot set to reward movie buffs with Smartphones

This is definitely a cheering news for Nigeria’s teeming movie buffs and addicts. In a bid to reward movie lovers who have enjoyed one of the most memorable cinematic experiences showcased by Silverbird Distributions Limited, the producers of Red Hot, a new thriller currently running in Silverbird cinemas recently unveiled a watch and win promo for them.

The producers are doing this in collaborations with the managements of Siendon Nigeria and Wavepalm Nigeria, respectively. Directed by Nollywood veteran, Teco Benson and written by Mrs. Sinmisola Ogunyinka, a celebrated author based in Abuja, the flick is already enjoying rave reviews.

 According Ogunyinka who also produced the movie, Red Hot was birthed as the first feature film by Pleasant Pictures to infuse excitement into the experiences by movie lovers in Nigeria. She described the movie as an eye opener concerning the depths of desperation human beings can be led to because of greed.

 Red Hot is an action-packed thriller which tells the story of a woman’s desperate and evil actions to get out of a childless marriage as well as her decision to end it all in one day in her supposed perfect crime. It starts like romance in the afternoon and ends as a tragedy close to midnight because of the unseen hands of fate which leads to her red hot desperation to survive.

Commenting on the movie, the director, Teco Benson, MFR, said: "Good plot. Great Script; all events in one day, almost at the same place; Good and dangerous imagination, breath-taking suspense, and it is timely lesson for our playboys and sugar mummies."

The movie which parades a mixture of established and rising Nollywood stars including Bukky Wright, Bimbo Manuel, TV personality Uti Nwanchukwu of the Big Brother Africa fame and Akin Lewis creates a particular aesthetic appeal with qualitative production, good storyline and sublime acting from this mix of talented actors. 

 According to Mrs. Ogunyinka, fans of the movie across Nigeria stand a chance of winning a Siendon Phoenix P1 smartphone or Wavepalm Tablet mini at the raffle draw which will be held at the various Silverbird cinemas across Nigeria at the termination of the movie in the box office.
