Ogayi, who joined Nollywood in 2013 as a production assistant and later veered into location management and editing in 2014 and 2015, respectively, revealed that his newest movie vividly captures and x-rays the many evils perpetrated by several irresponsible fathers/dads in the society.

“Wicked Father, which we shot this year, is a combination of several true life stories, which I decided to piece together into a movie, for the common good of our society.

We have heard stories of fathers raping and impregnating their own daughters. Even fathers killing their children and loved ones for money rituals is no longer news in our society. These evil acts have led to decadence in the larger society. So, in Wicked Father, we have exposed these despicable acts and many more perpetrated by many irresponsible fathers in the society. It is my own little contribution to improving our society, which has deteriorated badly”, hinted the Benue State-born film maker.

Speaking further, the proud member of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP), disclosed that the contemporary movie was shot on locations in Obarrike Ito Land, Benue State.

“I decided to shoot Wicked Father in my state of origin, in order to open up Benue for more entertainment and tourism potentials. We are gradually taking Nollywood to Benue State. Even my forthcoming cinema movie, which we intend to premiere in the first week of December 2016, was also shot in Benue,” hinted the 40 year-old producer, who shuttles between his domain and Rivers State.
